== Accès : 2 à 3h ==<br />
Si vous arrivez du Piton Maïdo, comptez entre 1 et 2 heures de marche jusqu’à l’exit en descente (900m de D-), selon votre aisance sur les sentiers réunionnais et l’état du dernier tronçon pour accéder à l’exit. Puis, comptez 3 à 4 heures (environ 1500m de D+) pour retourner au parking.<br />

Prenez le sentier du Maïdo qui descend dans Mafate en direction de roche Plate. Passez la Brèche et continuez environ 800m sur le sentier et au moment où vous traversez un bois, sur un replat, autour du point GPS 55.3982/-21.0632, prenez à gauche à travers la végétation. Un sentier a été ouvert en 2018, mais il est probablement envahi à nouveau par la végétation. Si vous ne le trouvez pas, tirer au mieux vers le point GPS -21.061783 / 55.401886. Au début, la végétation est dense et une fois que vous passez un petit col et que le relief devient descendant la végétation s’éclaircit et la progression devient plus aisée.<br />
Une corde fixe est en place, attachée à un arbuste et permet de passer sous un ressaut rocheux (un peu expo) afin d’arriver sur une bonne vire herbeuse qui donne accès à l’exit.<br />
Le posé est sur la gauche sur une belle plateforme herbeuse coincée entre deux ravines (attention à ne pas être trop long).Attention également, à quelques blocs qui peuvent être dissimulés par les herbes. Du posé on rejoint au mieux le sentier une centaine de mètres en contre-bas. <br />
<br />
Pour le retour, il faut remonter à Roche Plate par le GR, puis remonter au Maïdo.<br />
